We all need inspirations in life. People who have gone through struggles to reach the top of their respective fields. People who in life started out with nothing and didn't let that hold them back, going on to be superstars with copius amounts of wealth and happiness.
So this week all I am going to do on this post is lead you to some of the most important people who have been inspirations to me and I am sure many of you too, they have helped me get my shit together, to get up and go for what I want to be happy, to go workout when I want to just sit and relax and to go start a motivation website with my friend so we can help do what they want to do.
Here are those people and a short profile on them. Look them up for yourself and change your life for the better like we have.
Georges St-Pierre - While at school he had his clothes and money stole from him, so he took up karate aged 7 to deter the bullies in his life. He worked as both a bouncer and a garbage man to pay his school fees. Going onto join the UFC, win the welterweight title twice, keeping it for a record 2,204 days straight. Making him in my eyes the best fighter ever.
Eric Thomas - With a bad start in life it only got worse as he grew older, becoming homeless and eating out of garbage cans to survive, he didn't let that stop him and he is now one of the best if not the best motivational speaker on earth. Working with the NFL, NBA and Nike he can charge 10-15k for an hour presentation.
Joe Rogan - Without question the most down to earth guy I have heard. His way with words is amazing on his podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience". This guy changed my whole outlook on how we should treat each other and how to be calm and rational in everyday situations. A must look up for all of you.
Michael Phelps - 22 Olympic medals. 18 Gold. 2 Silver. 2 Bronze. Enough said.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson - Once quoted as saying "In 1995 I had 7 bucks in my pocket and knew two things: I'm broke as hell and one day I won't be". Now, in 2014, he damn sure ain't broke as hell. Dwayne is now one of the top grossing actors with his leading role films taking over 2 billion at the box office. Not to mention he is in beast mode 24/7 and every gym in the land starts crying whenever he approaches.
Michael Jordan - We all know this legends story. Cut from his high school basketball team (what a fool his coach was) he went on to dominate the NBA. With 114 awards, and far too many records to go into here, the man just oozes inspiration.
Lazar Novovic - If you are serious about getting into shape then look up this little known inspiration. Part of calisthenics group Bar Brothers, Lazar uses no gyms yet is still ripping out of his skin thanks to determination and dedication, showing us all how to get there in his series of YouTube videos, Instagram and Twitter pages.
