5- Work like hell
Well this needs no explanation does it?
This is the most simplistic in nature and yet this is the one area people fall down on most. Do you really want to fail because you didn’t work hard enough?
Do you really understand what it means to ‘leave no stone unturned’? Do you really know how it feels to be exhausted? And when we say exhausted we mean that moment when you have absolutely nothing left, your body is shaking and your muscles won’t let you move. Problem is most people get to an uncomfortable stage and think “ah that’s me, no more” and pack it in. Well that is bullshit. Once you reach uncomfortable you have at least another 3 levels in you before you start touching exhaustion.
And there is where it all counts.
Anyone can get to Uncomfortable. What separates good from great is the ability to push it to the next level and knock on exhaustions door, day after day, asking for more.
Good people will go to the library for eight hours. You my friend will start going for 10 hours. Good people will hit the gym and burn 500 calories. You my friend will start burning 1000+. Good people will learn one language. You my friend will learn five languages.
Having fun in life is important but remember this; whatever it is your goals are, when you are out partying the other guy is working. He is hungry, he is getting smarter and he is winning. How can you be more successful than a guy working 100 hour weeks when you are only clocking up 40 hours?!
Arnold says there are 24 hours in a day. You sleep six hours and that gives you 18 hours left for you to go at it. Now just imagine all you can accomplish in 18 hours of hard graft.
