Last week we spoke about pushing yourself to make your dreams become a reality. Well pushing yourself is a lot easier when you are laser focused. To accomplish any goal you have to have that laser focus.
To be laser focused means you aren't looking behind you or to the side. It means looking dead straight. It means staring right at that goal with no time for anything else. It means keeping that goal at the front of your mind, every, single, day. Successful people have the ability to stay focused on one thing and see it through to conclusion, with no regards to obstacles, discouragement, haters or previous failures.
You know how precious time is. We’ve spoken about it here:

You need that sense of urgency in your life, to appreciate that if you aim an arrow at the target and close your eyes, chances are you are going to miss. That is why focus is so important.
Remembering why you started your path will help maintain that focus. Why are you here on this Earth? Why are you here, stood in the middle of this gym? Why are you sat in front of this computer, writing/reading?
Your focus will allow you to push through those bad times. Those days when you aren't feeling 100%, those days when the weather isn't conducive, those days when it’s too early/too late, it’s going to be your focus which reminds you that “I made a commitment to give it 100% no matter what happens. I don’t care what the weather is like or how late it is, I need to finish this task to improve myself as a person and take a step closer to achieving my dreams.”
Case in point; multitasking. How much better does it feel when you have one single solitary task to perform? That is because your brain craves that focus. It doesn't want you spreading yourself thin, it wants you with single purpose of mind.
