That may be a harsh statement but let me explain.
You see, from the word go the parents and education system of today is teaching the next generation that it is OK to lose. They are told that there is no score during school games, that everyone is a winner, that it's all about the fun and not about winning.
This makes me sick! So right now we have to address it. We need to tell the kids that they got beat. We need to tell them that losing is a bad thing. We need to be telling them and teaching them that no one remembers second place. Don't believe me? Well answer me this. When was the last time you said "I'm going for a silver medal here"? Never!
It is good to lose! That's right, it is good, furthermore it is necessary! You have to lose to keep your ego in check, you have to lose because losing stokes that fire and results in you taking action to rectify the situation and for you to come out on top next time. This is why we must change the system from the grass roots level up. We must tell the children that they got beat, and that the only way to change that is by working hard and never giving up. Not just saying, oh here's a medal for taking part. I tell you this, if someone came to me with a participation medal it would be tossed in the trash! Winning is everything. Winning is the only thing.
If you want to have a little bitch for a child then you go right ahead and wrap them up in cotton wool, shielding them from that losing feeling, and watch them go out into the big bad world and get swallowed up! That won't be happening to our kids, we will be raising winners, savages, kids hungry to crush the competition with no remorse. That is the way to live life, being a winner.
