Of course we do.
A sprinters speed limit is reached after 6 seconds.
Humans reach an IQ limit at 220. (Although others have been 'estimated' higher)
The limit anyone has ever gone without sleep is 264 hours.
The heaviest deadlift ever recorded was 457.5KG.
We know all of the above limits and more because a lot of people have studied and tested how far they can go for ages to find exactly where the limit lies. Whether it be mental or physical, we have tried and tested it.
Have you ever reached your limit at something? Think hard, because I'm not talking about something as silly as getting amazing at Fifa. I am talking about your human absolute limit! The limit you must know to ascertain how far you can go in life.
I bet you don't know your limit! Do you?
You don't know how far you can run. How far your body will go before it truly gives in. How much you can take of someone's bullshit before you snap. How high up the ladder of success you could go. The list goes on and on.
Why don't you know? Here it is! BECAUSE YOU'RE WEAK! You're scared to go all out for greatness, you say you want it but you don't want it bad enough. You have listened to all the haters who said that this is as far as you can go, the haters who say those things because they are scared of what people like you can do. Fuck all those people. You have to be a wolf! If they throw you to the wolves, come back leading the pack! Grab life by the horns and take control once and for all.
Now, when you do decide to man up and go for broke, let me tell you, there are going to be people, lots of people, who don't like you. If you are the type of person who cares what your work colleagues think of you, who won't do what you want to do because you care what others think then please leave this site immediately and don't come back until you have changed your mindset and are ready for the next phase to greatness.
Do you think Usain Bolt ran 100m in 9.58 seconds by going 50% in training?
Do you think Michael Jordan, when he was cut from the high-school team said "well this is as far as I can go"?
What about Margaret Mead? After she had bottles thrown at her during her first march, did she give up?
Of course they didn't!! They said no, I haven't reached the limit yet and I won't stop until I get as far as is humanly possible, and that is exactly how you need to approach life from this moment on.
So as I leave you this week I have 2 simple requests.
Get out there and find your true limit, and, study the picture at the beginning of this post and answer me this question; Which one describes your limit?
Fly your own flag
